My husband and I tried this place last week while on vacation here and we are OBSESSED! We already came back a second time. The pozole is finger-licking good and the flautas are out of this world!!!! They also have delicious flan and a guava with cheese deep fried flauta - delicious! The service is excellent- feels like you’re at home. Will be coming back!

Have been in the area for close to 2 years. Discovered this place because it was recommended by "chilangos" who told me to try their pozole over the one I had found to be best. I'm glad I tried it. They were right! Now, visit at least once a week and have tried most of their menu. It's typical Mexican food (which can be found everywhere) however, soups with better stock, and meats of better quality. The natural aguas are not from syrup, but, natural and with just a little sugar. Staff is attentive and quick. My favorite is Sonya, who always serves with a smile. Inexpensive. The place is typical in decor, nothing outstanding. I recommend rather than going to any chain (food there is generally insipid). Don't worry nothing is spicy. You can add hot sauce later (only habanero based available , which I find a shortcoming as many of us prefer other chilies as base) or add the avocado sauce which has no chilies at all. I reiterate that you may not find a better pozole in town.

A nice local restaurant, cheap and good food. We went there thrice in our one week stay in Cancun. You can see locals eating there all the time, while we were the only foreigners! Very friendly, patient and polite staff. They can explain how to eat in the traditional way, and even provides you sauces if you ask for it. Food was fresh and tasty. You can pay with card. Looks like you can take away too. We were speaking in Spanish, not sure if they speak English.
